About Roger

Dr. Roger Mbianda Kechawah is a licensed insurance producer in Massachusetts and a lifelong educator, with years as a teacher and in service in the U.S. military. Roger holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Curriculum and Teaching from Liberty University.

The people Roger helps are never just clients. They become part of an extended family. For Roger, relationships don't end with a transaction; that's often where they begin.

Roger works with working professionals, young families, parents, homeowners, small business owners and the self-employed, immigrants, military personnel and veterans, and people planning for retirement, in the Taunton area and virtually across Massachusetts.

Appointments: Monday to Friday evenings after 4:00 PM ET, and weekends by appointment.

Rather than beginning with products, Roger begins with questions.

  • What happens financially if an income suddenly disappears?
  • Does your family know where important financial information is?
  • Could your business continue without you?
  • What happens to your assets when you die?
  • How could taxes affect what you are building or eventually transfer?
  • Are the financial decisions you are making today aligned with the future you want?

Why I Do This Work

When I immigrated to America, I believed that working hard was all I needed to build a secure financial future. But despite working hard, I often struggled to make ends meet. I kept asking myself: How will I prepare for retirement? What happens to my family if I become sick and cannot work? How will I pay for my children's college education?

These questions pushed me to start looking for answers. Along the way, I discovered financial strategies and opportunities that I had never been taught. I realized that hard work is important, but understanding how money works is equally important.

Having spent years as a teacher and serving in the U.S. military, education has always been a part of who I am. So I decided to combine my passion for teaching with what I was learning about finances to help others avoid some of the struggles and uncertainties I had experienced.

ROTEBLESS carries the names of my three children: Rozelle, Tendor, and Blessing. It stands for family, legacy, and generational prosperity, because what we build today should still be standing for our children tomorrow.

Clarity. Protection. Legacy.

Clarity

Understand where you are before deciding where you want to go. That means asking better questions about income, savings, debt, protection, taxes, retirement, business risks and estate considerations.

Protection

Building wealth is only one part of a financial picture. Families and entrepreneurs should also understand risks that could disrupt what they have spent years building.

Legacy

Legacy extends beyond money. It can include financial knowledge, preparation, instructions, values, businesses, property and the decisions that make life easier for the people who come after us.

A Personal Philosophy

“Financial education should come before any financial decision, and nobody should feel pressured into making one.”

Listen first.

Educate with honesty.

Decide without pressure.
